It's been a long time since I've visited my page or written an entry. It appears that despite my long hiatus people still check my page once in a while to see if there are any updates. For those people, I write today.

I tend to only check in when things are happening or I'm feeling overwhelmed with a certain emotion. Right now a lot of things are happening for me. There are going to be a lot of changes in the future. I finally will graduate in May, move into a new apartment with my significant other, and will have to find a new job. I freak out on almost a daily basis about all of this (big surprise). But it's getting better, I just can't imagine actually doing the things that I'll be trained to do without feeling as if I'm an impostor.

I think a lot of positive change has happened recently as well. One major event was the conquering of the evil cancer. It has made a complete difference in my life not to have those weekly visits to the hospital for treatments, scans, or labs. I am so much happier and feel more and more like myself everyday. Such a relief! And I also think that in a lot of ways I've been able to stabilize my life and take more control of the things that once rendered me weak and broken. I no longer give in so easily to others or let their emotions overwhelm me.

Things are good and that is that. Not sure if that will change once my living situation chances and I have to share my space with another..hah...but we'll see. I'm hoping for the best.
