"They say it's your birthday

We're gonna have a good time

I'm glad it's your birthday

Happy birthday to you."

Yep, that's right, it's my birthday. Whoohoo. The big 20 and I feel so young in spite of it all. One of my friends even commented, while wishing me a good one, that my life was about 1/4 over already. Imagine that.

It's true I suppose. It's time to move on the 3/4ths rest of life and leave all that teenage nonsense behind. Time to find a real purpose, good job to get me out of this premature debt, and maybe even a mate. OR NOT. Hell, it's only another day in the total lifespan if you think about it - no undue stress should be placed on this one day - unless you're going to help me celebrate it with monatary gifts and cute trinkets, heh.

The celebrations for the event were great though. Friends managed to pull the wool over my eyes yet another year, this time to gather a wide array of people to go out for the evening. It was random, it was a little crazy, but it was so much fun. Everyone got along suprisingly well too. The celebrations continued on from Saturday into Sunday and that evening till today - the rightful day.

Today was alright besides the fact that I actually had to drag my ass to all my classes and even get around to the work that I neglected all wkend. But I was stopped along my journeys to class and work and dinner for a quick salutations of a joyful birthday and picked up some more cards as well.

Want to know something else? You're gonna call me a dork but the boy that I semi-stalk, through my varied signing on to the internet, informed me that he's single once again. Not that it really means anything (and no he's not just someone I know from online - we took a stats course together last summer) but it put a little spring into my step. HEY! I'm allowed a little frivolity on my birthday.

And with that I'm going to end this, since I'm no longer a birthday girl as the day has turned. Till next year...
