Whooo - that was a long hiatus. It was partially due to my lack of interest and motivation in general, but mainly due to the fact that I had forgotten my password, lost access to the email account that they could send it to, and was too lazy to actually try to retrieve the information from my labtop. But, now I've finally rejoined the internet community and all is well.

Well, it's been about 4 months and change since I graduated from fabulously overpriced GW. Of course initially I was sad to be stuck in that transition phase and living back at home, working at my old job, and clinging on to what little social life I still had after the migration. I still do miss all my friends, although by this point we've falling into a comfortable rhythm of keeping in touch and keeping up with each other's lives.

By this point I've moved on, found a new place to live right outside Boston, and have completed the first two days of the program I'll be part of for the next three years. And now that I've gotten over all of the initial nervousness, it's really good and my place is so cute and close to school.

While I'll still be frequenting my old job once a week or so for the next month, that too will soon be phased out of my life. It will be wierd, leaving a place that has been a steady part of my life the past 4 years. I've loved the staff and have really gained a lot of great experience there, but it's time for me to move on. I'm too comfortable there. I need something that will bring more excitement and doesn't remind me of him; something that doesn't remind me of anything.

In a few short weeks I will have my wish with new clinical placements and potential new jobs. Sometimes it all seems like a little too much too fast, but soon enough I'm sure I'll be enjoying it all, rebuilding my social life, and finding some time to sleep in my new bed inbetween everything.
